rice cooker bibimbap
make bibimbap in just one pot!
Ingredients (serves 2)
3/4 cup rice
1/2 cup water
6 oz bulgogi
6 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
2 cups baby spinach
1/2 medium carrot, shredded
Pinch of salt
1-2 tbsp gochujang
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
(Optional) 1 fried egg
Instructions
Wash and drain the rice, and pour in the water. Place the bulgogi and mushrooms on top of the rice. Close the rice cooker lid and press “cook.”
As soon as the rice cooker is done, quickly add in the spinach and carrots. Sprinkle on a pinch of salt. Close the lid back up and let the veggies steam in the residual heat for 5 minutes.
Add the gochujang and sesame oil. Optionally, place a fried egg on top. Mix everything together.
